I was clicking through some of my blog links and found this fun video. Its amusing watching how dogs react to the snow. Dexter can’t stop sniffing around the yard. I think he’s still trying to understand what snow is. He’ll sniff and sniff and sniff and finally breach, like a whale, with a snort and a shake resulting in an explosion of snow; then he’ll go back and do the same thing again, leaving no snow un-sniffed.
We only have a few inches now, but when there are over two feet on the ground he likes to romp around and leap through the snow like a deer. It is great exercise for him but he is a giant mess to clean up before he comes inside.
